Welcome to Nurture. The term nurture refers to the "process of caring for and encouraging the growth or development of someone or something." That is the driving force in developing this project: to promote a journey that instills growth within ourselves.
The concept based on the premise that being connected to the natural world provides us strength as we navigate our own experiences with change. This is demonstrated by the interconnected personal journey the client takes towards achieving balance in their everyday lives through the spa. This spa caters to people who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. Unfortunately, there is no cure for MS, but as the patients battle the condition with resilience, they will use the spa as a source of renewal.
The spa is owned and managed by a dedicated team comprising Dr. Pat Helf and physical therapist Chris Helf. Nestled at the base of a mountain, the spa is surrounded by picturesque park-like settings, serene water features, and abundant wildlife, making it an ideal location for a holistic day spa. Specializing in therapeutic treatments for multiple sclerosis patients, the spa reflects Pat's deep passion for the project, inspired by personal experience with a family member affected by the condition. Pat and Chris want a tranquil, stress-free environment that fosters holistic healing and well-being for patients. As well as an attached residence for the doctor and physical therapist keeping in mind the importance of nature and its healing environment.
