As our world has become heavily influenced by social media, public perceptions of food are often shaped by unhealthy advertising. This contributes to poor nutritional food literacy and well-being. Current business and marketing education rarely addresses the ethical and social responsibility of healthy nourishment. This leaves a gap between profit-driven messages and public health.
Food For Thought aims to create a community where nutrition and education meets buyer awareness. Driven by group learning and health based gardening, this gathering place emphasizes food security, knowledge, and preservation all with the goal to educate lifelong learners to counter communal hunger.
